50 Light Vegan Chocolate Recipes

Chocolate is so, so good. In fact, surveys find that people rate the experience of cozying up to chocolate as better than sex! Yep, more than half of women surveyed prefer chocolate to sex, citing that it “never disappoints.” Ahem. Well, the moral of the story is that we love our chocolate. And it’s ok to love chocolate, as recent science shows that pure, plant-based chocolate is packed with plant compounds linked with health protection. Of course, you can take chocolate and mire it down with fat and sugar, thus, losing all of those plant-based benefits that originate from the cocoa bean. But you can wade your way through that problem by focusing on chocolate in all its deep, dark glory—pure chocolate, in beautiful plant-based preparations with limited amounts of saturated fats, additives, and sugar, and lots of pizzazz!
